TAP's mission is to increase the capacity of civil society organizations to reduce corruption and better hold government accountable for efficiency in social sector public spending

  • Burkina Faso

    Laboratoire Citoyennetés

    Créé en 2003, le Laboratoire Citoyennetés (LC) est une association de droit burkinabè à vocation régionale (Afrique de l’Ouest) qui travaille sur la gouvernance et la citoyenneté en associant la recherche en sciences sociales à la facilitation et à l’influence du dialogue entre citoyens et gouvernants.
    Le LC a ainsi pour visée de contribuer à mettre en place une gouvernance réconciliée avec ses citoyens, à partir du local. C'est-à-dire une gouvernance dans laquelle, d’une part, les citoyens sont en mesure d’exprimer leurs besoins et de demander des comptes à leurs gouvernants, et d’autre part, les gouvernants sont informés de la nature des besoins réels de leurs administrés et établissent un dialogue constructif avec eux.

    Le LC travaille sur les enjeux de gouvernance qui se posent en matière de délivrance des services publics, de gestion foncière et de fonctionnement politique de la décentralisation.

    For this study, UNHCO and HEPS, two organizations dedicated to health consumer rights, have joined in a coalition to assess the extent to which resources allocated to the health sector affect access to medicines in Uganda.

    The Alliance for Reproductive Health Rights (ARHR) seeks to promote rights-based approach to sexual and reproductive health through advocacy and inclusive policy making in the interest of underserved communities, the poor and the marginalized.   ARHR was formed with the objectives of increasing access to responsive sexual and reproductive health (SRH) services and information in underserved communities, improving the capacity of communities to demand accountable SRH services, and strengthening the capacity of Ghanaian NGOs and community based organizations to deliver rights-based

The organization also creates innovative models and tools, broadens awareness of maternal and reproductive health problems and their solutions, and works with partners to implement practical and effective programs on the ground.
