PETS and Absenteeism Window

Deadline for Proposals: May 15, 2009

Under this Request for Proposals, TAP will sponsor up to twenty (20) organizations based in sub-Saharan Africa, South Asia, and East Asia and the Pacific to perform a detailed tracking of public expenditures or service provider absenteeism in either health or education, develop recommendations for improving the efficiency and equity of those expenditures based on the analysis, and carry out an advocacy program to promote longer term, sustainable accountability.

All proposals must be submitted using our Online Application. We recommend that those interested in this Grant Window read the full Request for Proposals before beginning the application. The Request for Proposals document provides detailed information about the Grant window timeline, project requirements including deliverables, maximum award, and eligibility requirements. If you have questions about the Grant Window or proposal requirements, please refer to the Frequently Asked Questions page.

We encourage organizations that do not have experience conducting public expenditure tracking or absenteeism studies to apply for this Grant Window. For more information about the public expenditure tracking survey (PETS) and absenteeism methodologies, we recommend reading any of the excellent resources listed on the Frequently Asked Questions page.

The RFP for this grant round is currently closed.  We will announce our selections on June 6, 2009.
